we have not had to adjust voting weights for a long time now and the mana remains at good levels but leaves little to no room for manual curation

I don't think there's many people who's going for the manual curation, so my guess is that we are all fine with that 💯

I had a thought
In order to get curation and dividends in the beginning, it required 100 HIVE, then 200 and since we're in the 1.5 HIVE tranche now, it requires 300 HIVE for a total new user to get a foot in.

To make it more lucrative (and possibly fun too) to own $DUO, even a small stack, could we do some small benefit?
Maybe like 5 staked $DUO give a duo tip worth 0.01 $DUO - or other incentives.
I thought about a small curation %, but it could potentially destroy the current levels completely because there would be lot of people (I think) getting some duo tokens

Appreciate the idea, so we still need to update our posts but the 5 duo authors bonus is now done with and only open to people we onboarding and up to 200 duo max to get them into the lowest tier. We still need to sort out the guest authors bonus system but we have bought ourselves some time with our 2 consistent guest authors. However you brought some great points and we will be sure to consider and try to find ways we can try to give smaller stackers something, but like you mentioned it's not simple as we also don't want to cut into our current stackers value , but it's ok we will explore solutions that would not do this .

I think the tipping function worth 0.005 or 0.01 at most would be a good idea.

I'll start thinking about some awesome way to make the guest author rewards.
Do you have anything outlined at the moment for those rewards? Like, is the 50% beneficiary still included?

Right now we don't have an established structure as we got 2 consistent guest authors that are paying back loans in the form of guest posts, we are open to ideas and are currently thinking about this @rainbowdash4l had an interesting idea he shared in a comment not long ago about this

Nice no pressure as I mentioned we bought ourselves time with our 2 consistent guest authors however important to prepare for the future also we want to look into opening up more guest slots in the future maybe even starting another duo account just for guest authors slots to give us even more spaces , lots to think about and consider on this
