Welcome to the latest DUO update post. Welcome folks we have found our new hire for the @duo-replies job! The competition was tough we had lots of applicants like @caspermoeller89 's 8 year old daughter, but the team decided to give the job to someone who you all know by now, our frequent guest author and incredible writer @thelastdash!
I am guessing you folk may have noticed he started to make the rounds with some amazing replies!
The team think he is a great fit for the job and also this gives him an opportunity to paydown his business loan from DUO faster!
Aside from that things are going slow and steady we are pleased that we have not had to adjust voting weights for a long time now and the mana remains at good levels but leaves little to no room for manual curation but that is totally fine with us .

Only a few are in the loop about this but there is going to be some changes coming to our banners!
I will not get into much details but they will be a lot more dynamic and movie like, and they will offer an even greater value proposition to our top 3 stackers, as you see our #3 spot is being contested and that is before we announced this!

Important
DUO stakers are free to unstake as they please however we ask that when you do so you notify the DUO team, we set the curation up manually and letting us know keeps things fair for the other stakers.
Failure to do so will result in a 50% drop on curation on the remaining stake (Assuming its over 200 after the unstake as a reminder 200 is our minimum for curation) for a period of 1 week, there is no penalty for unstaking, only if it's done without notification to the DUO team.

We have targeted voting weights however they may be adjusted to ensure that @duo-curator is maintaining healthy mana levels.

Manual curation
When the voting mana is running high (above 85%) we have created a queue of our stakers who will receive an increased manual upvote when this is happening. First you must receive a normal vote from the @duo-curator to be eligible for the boost. The boost percentage will be up to 50% of a vote. Once you receive an additional curation your name moves to the bottom of the list so that everyone has a chance to benefit from this. New stakers that buy and stake at least 200 DUO will start at the bottom of the list to be fair.
