Calling All Stakers!
We Need Your Input!
In our last update post, we proposed buying into alternative assets like BTC with income brought in from loans. This is so we have more than HIVE backing everything and we could easily liquidate and disperse funds to stakers if the project were to ever be dissolved. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback!
We're looking at diversifying into additional stable coins, and we have some options.
Accumulate and keep them in a self-custody wallet - No counterparty risk, but there is no growth from interest
Deposit the funds into a CEX to grow the fund by accruing interest - Less anonymity and there is high counterparty risk potential
Deposit the funds into a DEX to grow the fund by accruing interest - More anonymity, but there is still high counterparty risk potential

Important
DUO stakers are free to unstake as they please however we ask that when you do so you notify the DUO team, we set the curation up manually and letting us know keeps things fair for the other stakers.
Failure to do so will result in a 50% drop on curation on the remaining stake (Assuming its over 200 after the unstake as a reminder 200 is our minimum for curation) for a period of 1 week, there is no penalty for unstaking, only if it's done without notification to the DUO team.

We have targeted voting weights however they may be adjusted to ensure that @duo-curator is maintaining healthy mana levels.

Manual curation
When the voting mana is running high (above 85%) we have created a queue of our stakers who will receive an increased manual upvote when this is happening. First you must receive a normal vote from the @duo-curator to be eligible for the boost. The boost percentage will be up to 50% of a vote. Once you receive an additional curation your name moves to the bottom of the list so that everyone has a chance to benefit from this. New stakers that buy and stake at least 200 DUO will start at the bottom of the list to be fair.
