Sorry about Nero. Perhaps he will get better as time goes on. I used to let my kitties out until someone shot my cat with a 22 cal and took out all the teeth on his upper jaw. He was gone for 4 days and dragged himself home. We had to take him to the emergency vet; he was gang green and in terrible condition.

He did heal and we kept him indoors from that point on, as with all my kitties since. It's too dangerous out there with cars, predators and folks who put out poison and worse.
