The vet also thinks she tore her ACL, but just in case, she put her on anti-inflammatory pain killer for a month, and if that doesn't really help, sedated X-Rays will confirm whether it's the ligaments. So, rest for a month, no running, no jumping, and no real walking, that will be tough for Kaia! And for me too, that was a great excuse for exercise.
I was also glad to read Nero is doing well, that's great news!

As for deer meat, I do know most of the meat they got from that last culling was offered to charity associations, so they could distribute it to local families. It is !INDEED very good meat, but just like other delicious meats, I have to try and forget where it comes from...
