I always use the example of glasses for my children. You can view the world through pink glasses, or through toilet glasses (which translates to the same word βBrilβ in Dutch, but doesnβt make sense at all in English :-D )

Yes !INDEED, these lenses are what shapes βourβ version of the world. For my children, I used to call it βbrilβ, but I actually call it my βframe of referenceβ, where you can still visualize the concept for visual people by looking throug and actual frame.
