Maui is a whole different world again! That's wild about the rapidly-shifting winds at the top of the mountain! You don't see that in many places! Oh, by the way, usually when fires burn underground for long periods of time, it's because there are coal deposits. Some keep burning for years. I don't think that's the issue here, I think it's massive piles of tree debris piled up 20 feet deep.... just so much wood laying around to burn!!😳
