Repeat Tiredness. My Actifit Diary: May 6 2026

So tired. Yesterdays day? Repeat. Very productive though, and I have the recipes almost ready. The bread came out incredible, beautiful and delicious. But the dough was very difficult to handle, so I have to tweak the flour:water mix a little, probably taking out a little water. Or putting in a little more flour. Or both. But it can change the whole recipe again, so one has to be cautious with that.

I didn’t really have time for breakfast. I munched some cashews (a luxury that I allow myself from time to time) while walking from a meeting to the bakery. And later, I cooked, and it was delicious! I finally got some plain tofu, so I froze it (makes the consistency better) and had it thaw over night, and made something that I don’t know how to call. Tofu, veggies, chickpeas. Fresh ginger and garlic, soy sauce, and crushed cilantro seeds and cumin. What a feast!

I did hit the gym in the morning. And I went to MA classes with Kami. But with the MA on top of the regular gym, I’m now at 7 sport sessions in 5 days each week. Which does require me to eat a little more, and to hydrate a lot more.

Tomorrow is market day. I’m thinking about calling it an early night, though I think about that a lot and then it doesn’t happen for whatever reasons. Yesterday, I read and curated and commented a lot from my main account. Which was great to be honest, I miss doing that. I didn’t have much of a chance to follow up on my Actifit acquaintances from this account, either. Oh well, times will change again. At least I’m still taking the time to write every evening. And this time of over-occupancy will not last forever.

Sounds like you are burning the candle at both ends - did anyone tell you rest days are valuable hehe.

I used to cook a lot with chickpeas but Jamie can't handle them (gut - FODMAP) so we don't anymore, and because we don't, even I get stomach aches from them! So white beans and black beans it is.

I made like the best white bean salad the other day! But Kami ate it all... It was the day she had her deposition, and we picked her up right after school, so she was hungry. I just didn't imagine just how hungry. Teenagers...
