I just met with a food retail vendor and she said the price hype is gradually creeping in.
How long it will take is first dependent on how long the ongoing chaos will last and secondly, when our producers, middlemen and retailers will accept to come back to price terms.

Prices of oil have hit $100 dollars per barrel and we can't conclude just yet. From my research, gas prices have increased by more than $1 dollars. Diesel and premium are selling at $4.65 and $4.34 respectively. A month ago, these two products were selling at $3.77 and $3.64 dollars with the significant difference starting a week after the war Broke out.
To conclude, let me add, the war is escalating beyond expectations. The United Kingdom are NOW very concerned about their citizens who are trapped in the Middle East emphasizing precisely that Iran is a terrorist nation. What will be their Next action? On the other hand, surrounding Arab nations are putting the blame on Israel suggesting they have only one plan; ‘war against surrounding Muslim nations’. What are your own views from here?
