Welcome to the latest DUO update post. So if one is to have a look at the sell orders they will notice something strange there is slightly less DUO in our tranche but there are still cheaper order bellow our official 1.5 hive price, What gives ?
Well as we mentioned before the team uses personal funds to get @duo-curator premium on inleo, and we take out the equivalent DUO out of the tranche.
One thing that has remained true since the inception of the project beside our damn near consistent delivery on all our promises, is the teams willingness to take an L to better our stackers.
Instead of pulling HBD out of sales or powering down our curators power to cover the subscription, we use our own funds, and what do we get in return some precious DUO but even there we take an L we could get more DUO buying from those selling under the 1.5 price, but instead we leave that for you guys and we chip away at the tranche.
A new onboarding initiative
There has been a lot of things happening, @bitcoinman recently launched a neat initiative that can help drive people to hive, he is releasing music for any hive user to use and these tracks includes commercial & resell rights, the only catch is that you got to have a hive account, he is sharing these songs on youtube and has a link to the post bellow for the people on youtube that find the music and want to use it or get curious about this interesting concept.

Important
DUO stakers are free to unstake as they please however we ask that when you do so you notify the DUO team, we set the curation up manually and letting us know keeps things fair for the other stakers.
Failure to do so will result in a 50% drop on curation on the remaining stake (Assuming its over 200 after the unstake as a reminder 200 is our minimum for curation) for a period of 1 week, there is no penalty for unstaking, only if it's done without notification to the DUO team.

Manual curation
When the voting mana is running high (above 85%) we have created a queue of our stakers who will receive an increased manual upvote when this is happening. First you must receive a normal vote from the @duo-curator to be eligible for the boost. The boost percentage will be up to 50% of a vote. Once you receive an additional curation your name moves to the bottom of the list so that everyone has a chance to benefit from this. New stakers that buy and stake at least 200 DUO will start at the bottom of the list to be fair.
