i've noticed that on my maintenance days (once per week, and i allow myself to eat whatever i want as long as it's under my current maintenance) my macronutrient distribution ends up being around 30-40% fat. i know that fat provides you with long-term energy rather than quick energy like carbs do, so i was wondering if increasing my distribution from 20-25% to 30-40% would be healthy. of course, i try to limit saturated fat (on good days i limit it to no more than about 10g) but i think incorporating more healthy fats might do me some good, especially concerning cholesterol and energy levels
