The day began with a simple breakfast. Warm rice with simple side dishes was enough to fuel my energy, accompanied by a cup of coffee, which always provides encouragement before starting my activities. It didn't need to be fancy, just enough and enjoyed with gratitude.
After that, I began preparing bread to be delivered to my regular shops. The neatly packaged loaves were placed in boxes, then arranged on a pedicab. The journey began, along quiet village roads with green views to the left and right. This activity had become routine, but there was always a sense of excitement because sustenance must be earned through effort.
I visited each shop one by one, handing over my order while engaging in light conversation with the owner. A relationship with a regular customer isn't just about buying and selling, but also about maintaining trust. This is where I learned that consistency is key.
Toward evening, I continued my activities in the rice fields. Watching the rice plants grow slowly brought a sense of calm. Amidst the vast expanse of green, fatigue seemed to melt away. All the effort felt worth it when I saw the results begin to show.
Today once again teaches us that a simple life can still be meaningful. As long as we're willing to put in the effort, be grateful, and enjoy every step of the way, everything will feel enough.
