That's exactly my deepest reason never to watch horror movies.

Even Nollywood films, immediately it's getting to horror or those fetish retuals, I will automatically change it to mild movies to something else.

I don't like how they affect me later, so I don't try at all.

        You are correct. It is better to avoid these things than to fight the after effects.
        Prevention is better than cure.
        Safety is also cheap when it is considered first but costly to do damage control when Safety is considered lastly.
