If the members of your #Discord "server" do not see a #general channel, some of them might hesitate to send a message on a specific channel !INDEED. 🤯🤓

Well it's good that I already created general channels then. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

It's a good thing that for every Hive community on #PeakD Chat, there already is a #general channel automatically created for it. 😎😏

That's great, and very useful to boot. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

It is no longer surprising though seeing messages on some #general channels on Hive communities on #PeakD Chat being more than 200 days old. 🤯😅

Yep, indeed, the community did not make use of it as hoped. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Even if #PeakD Chat is built right on the PeakD blogging platform itself, there still are few users of such decentralized chat platform for community chats (which are not encrypted). 🤯 Anyway, only operators hosts of instances of PeakD Chat (and forks such as #DBuzz Chat) can see how many users have one-on-one chats and who they talk with, though not the contents (because one-on-one messages are encrypted end-to-end using the private posting keys). 🤓

Yep, it's pretty wild. Discord was chosen by the community quite a while ago, so nothing else seems able to pull people away from it. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I really think that such centralized proprietary platforms are opposite of what Hive (and other "sovereignty-driven" platforms) offers, so let's hope that #PeakD Chat and other decentralized FOSS apps (on Hive) are implemented and improved. 🤗🤓
