After finding a parking spot, determining what direction the tide is flowing, is always our first conversation!๐

One thing for certain, it was either low tide or close to it!๐

โSilvertopโฆ.. Puget Sound and the Salish Sea, often get mixed semidiurnal tides, meaning:
- two highs and two lows per day,
- but one low is usually much lower than the other,
- and one high is usually higher than the other.
Today this is the Tide Tableโฆโฆ..
Hereโs the clearer picture for Bellingham Bay today:
- 11:19 AM low tide: about -1.4 ft
โ Very low water. Great tidepooling conditions. - 7:30 PM high tide: about 8.6 ft
- 12:04 AM low tide (overnight): about 6.7โ
โSo itโs past 11:19 AM Silvertop, so that means the tide is coming back in, I was correct!โ๐ฅฐ

It really doesnโt matter, High or Low Tide, itโs always nice down at the Ocean, especially with Liz!๐
