Locks have always intrigued me. Sadly I have only had a chance to explore one Lock back in Indiana, and it was no longer functional just preserved for future generations.😊

        I have used locks on a canal boat holiday a long time ago in my early adult years. It was fun but can take a while to negotiate especially if there are more than one in a row.

              Sounds very interesting, I have heard it's a slow process...
              My youngest son used to work for National Geographic cruise line,and I believe he either went through the Panama or Suez Canal!πŸ‘πŸ˜€
