In this article, I will present to you the newest opportunity to earn $TRENDZ tokens passively.
From September 1 (Monday), you will be able to earn $TRENDZ tokens by delegating Hive Power (HP) to the @splintertrends account.
How is it working?
This feature will be different from traditional delegation programs (like everything in my world 😉)
There will be 3 delegation giveaways in each month:
- From Day 1 to Day 10 (e.g., September 1 - September 10)
- From Day 11 to Day 20 (e.g., September 11 - September 20)
- From Day 21 to the end of the month (e.g., September 21 - September 30)
In these periods, you can earn Delegation Points each day by delegating HP to the @splintertrends account. If you delegate 100 HP, you can earn 100 Delegation Points each day.
At the end of each period, all Hive Power earned by the @splintertrends account will be used to buy $TRENDZ tokens.
Every Delegation Point earner will be rewarded with these $TRENDZ tokens by this formula:
User's Reward = (All Reward / All Delegation Points) x User's Delegation Points
The sources of HP income
- Earning HP by getting upvotes on articles and comments (50% of the author reward)
- Earning HP by voting on Splinterlands-related content
- Earning HP by voting on comments
Why is it worth being a delegator?
- You can become a member of the $TRENDZ holder community or strengthen your current position 😉
- As a $TRENDZ holder, you can use my site's advanced features
- As a $TRENDZ holder, you can also earn various rewards each month (SWAP.HIVE dividends, DEC/SPS tokens, and $TRENDZ airdrops).
- Or you can sell the earned reward. The token's current price is 1 SWAP.HIVE, and hasn't changed significantly from the start.

Why can you achieve better APR than others?
- Upvotes of articles and comments count in overall HP income
- The HP amount delegated from @trendztoken to the @splintertrends account, doesn't earn Delegation Points (currently ~132 HP)
- The base HP amount of @splintertrends account also doesn't generate Delegation Points (currently ~812 HP)
So these extra HP amounts can boost the income of other delegators
How to get in the action?
- Delegate Hive Power to the @splintertrends account
- To earn Delegation Points, you will need a minimum of 100 delegated HP
- Each delegated HP earns 1 Delegation Point per day
- [UPDATE] A maximum of 5000 Delegation Points can be earned by one account per day
- Your $TRENDZ token reward will be credited after the Giveaway finishes
Steps to Delegate (Hive Keychain)
- Open Hive Keychain Extension
- Click on the HP button
- Click on the HP Deleg. button
- Enter splintertrends in the Username field, your desired HP in the Amount field, then click on the big Delegate to user red button
Checking your progress

Header:
- Period (the current giveaway's start and end date)
- Progress (how many days have passed)
- Total reward
- Total Delegation Points (the sum of all earned Delegation Points)
- Possible APR (Current prize / Total Delegation Points x 365)*
Rows:
- Account (delegator account)
- Delegated Hive Power
- Delegation Points/day
- Delegation Points (Delegation points earned during the current giveaway)
- Projected reward % (current share from the reward as a percentage)
- Projected reward (current share from the reward)
* If everything remains the same (same income, same HP delegation), this can be a possible APR / delegated HP
Notes to current $TRENDZ holders
- Delegation Giveaways is another feature that generates additional $TRENDZ demand and thereby more SWAP.HIVE dividends to you
- Every $TRENDZ holder who also participates in Delegation Giveaways with at least 100 HP will be placed twice in the upcoming $TRENDZ airdrop drawings 😉

Where to get $TRENDZ token?
The initial price of a TRENDZ token is exactly 1 HIVE. The initial supply is 10000. The price of further issued tokens will be higher.
