My Actifit Report Card: February 4 2026

in Actifit7 days ago

Hello, dear members of Actifit and Hive!
Today is World Cancer Day.
I wish to all those people suffering from the cursed disease, as well as their families, friends, and relatives to have a positive outcome in their fight with the disease, and recover healthier and stronger than before.
Actifit can be a great ally in this fight.
For good luck, here is a picture of a clove, although it doesn't have four leaves.

I was unaware of that. As a person who has a close relative with cancer I am surprised that I did not know. Perhaps too engulfed in the trauma of it to notice! Thanks for the sentiment though. 😊

To be honest, I didn't know it either.
I thought it would be a good idea to add a bit of information about the International or World Day (if any) that applies to the specific date, whenever I write a post on Hive, for example, an Actifit report.
Some days can make us sad, some others laugh.
This is life, I guess.
Today is World Nutella Day 😋!
The other day was World Leprosy Day.
I think I know exactly what you mean when it comes to cancer.
I had no idea when the World Cancer Day is, when we drove my late mother to the hospital for chemotherapy sessions, etc. over a period of six years, before she...
We are trying to pick up the broken pieces in the family now, but it's hard...
I only wish we had done those things we never did with her and for her when she was still alive.
My blessings and all my positive energy to your relative and yourself to stay strong and win this fight🙏.

World Nutella day? Whatever next? 😅

We are about six months into treatment since diagnosis. Half way through chemo, scans coming up this month. Hopefully enough to allow surgery, we'll see. 😐

Meanwhile have some tokens...

🙏
Just keep in mind that, for all those treatments and surgeries to actually work, changing lifestyle habits and a better quality of life at home are key for long term results.
In many cases, this is not possible, for all different reasons...
Even the patient may refuse and be reluctant to change old ways for the better.
Positive psychology and having a good laugh whenever possible are important.
Try to forget problems.
I know that these are easier to say than done.
We didn't do this with my mother.
If we had, things might have different now, she could still be with us.
Improving things at home can multiply the effect of good work done by doctors at the hospital.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences, it all helps. 😊
