The national Championships are actually the only important thing in these competitions. Local level is too low. She needs to reach national level in at least on discipline and every second year she should reach a final (actually both in winter and summer of that second year). Two years ago she reached the nationals for 600m (summer), 1 year ago nationals final at 600m (indoor, winter) and nationals but no final in Summer. This year no winter, she should reach at least natinals in summer... we'll see in 800m, 400m hurdles or 2000m steeple. And than next year trying again for the Heptatlon and one of these three disciplines again.... !HOPE !STRIDE

It looks like what you mean is that it is better to win a national championship, than to win all local (or possibly regional) championships but lose the national one. 🤓
I see though that you have some typos on that comment. 🤯 I assume that you mean "one discipline" instead of "on discipline", and "during the winter" instead of "no winter". 😏 !LOLZ
